The building was completed to a high standard and eight years on, we have had no problems at all. It is now fully integrated within the gardens and provides an excellent display space for our shop; a lovely place for people to browse. It also won the Sussex Heritage Trust Award in 2010, which gave the business some great exposure.

We use the garden room all year round. It has been great to be able to have the family over for Christmas and friends visit during barbeque season. We have gained somewhere for entertaining which we have wanted for a long time and it also means we can enjoy our garden all year round.

Both contractors, Custom Build and ECJ (English Heritage Buildings’ approved carpentry contractor), worked exceptionally well together to create a product that was crafted and manufactured beautifully off-site. I would not hesitate to recommend English Heritage Buildings to anyone considering an oak-frame project.
